NEW YORK (AP) — Federal health officials say that a heartburn caused by a drug such as Nexium and Prilosec is not the cause of a heart attack.
The agency said on Thursday that the drug has been linked to an increased risk of heart attacks, strokes and other heart problems among people who take it.
It’s the latest in a series of cases that has led to federal officials seeking a drug to treat heartburn symptoms.
The Food and Drug Administration has not made the announcement about heartburn treatment options for the agency.
Health officials say the drug does not cause heartburn symptoms.
In July, the Food and Drug Administration began investigating the drug, saying that it has not caused heart attacks or other heart problems.
The drug has not been linked to an increased risk of heart attacks or strokes among people who take it.
In the past, the FDA has not indicated that it has linked heartburn to an increased risk of heart attacks.
Some people taking the drug say it has caused heartburn. Others say it has caused heartburn and other symptoms of heartburn.
The FDA has not issued any reports of heartburn or other heart problems that have not been linked to the drug.
The agency is working on finding ways to address the problem.
Federal health officials said the agency will continue to monitor heartburn.
“We are working to identify and address the underlying causes of the problem,” said Janet Woodcock, director of the agency’s health division.
The FDA will continue to monitor heartburn.
“This is a priority for the agency and we are working on ways to address the underlying cause of heartburn,” said Acting Assistant Secretary for Policy and Research Nancy Pelosi, who represents the FDA.
The agency’s drug review is underway. The drug is approved for use in children ages 12 and older.
The drug has been linked to an increased risk of heart attacks.
The agency has not made a public announcement about whether the drug is linked to an increased risk of heart attacks.
In January, the agency said that it had not found an increased risk of heart attacks or strokes among people who take the drug.
The drug is not recommended for use by anyone with heart problems.
“We remain committed to ensuring that all Americans have access to safe and effective heartburn treatment,” said Nancy Pelosi, director of health services for the agency.

The agency’s drug review was delayed because it found that the drug is not indicated for use by anyone with heart problems.
